But in the end, we must remind ourselves that it is not a holiday to celebrate female independence or feminism but to celebrate couples.  Singles should have nothing to worry about because they have personal freedom.  On the other hand, it can reaffirm the divide between society’s pretty people and the ugly people who can’t find a date, just kidding.

Second, when you’ve determined a man meets your standards, you should be firm yet aggressive about wanting marriage and children.  You should not wait too long to propose marriage because a man will likely wait forever.  A man views marriage not just as an act of monogamous love but as a financial agreement that ties him for the next twenty plus years of his life.

Third, in order for a man to agree to marry you, he should consider whether the woman is marriage material or wife material.  If the man wants children and to start a family soon, he needs to be sure that the woman is capable of raising a child and fulfilling motherly duties.  In addition, the woman must be viewed as a supportive and nurturing wife who supports her husband emotionally not just financially.  The woman must be mentally stable and confident in herself as a caretaker of the home and family, if she is not confident in professional or social matters.
